Portronics Launches Scanny 6 Portable Scanner At Rs.6999

    Indian tech manufacturer Portronics has launched it's 6th addition to the Scanny- portable scanners. The hand held scanners work by, user pressing a button and moving the scanner over books, documents, etc and the image is stored in the memory of the the scanner. Therefore it doesn't need a computer or any power source to operate.

    Scanny 6 works independent of the light conditions and the images scanned can be zoomed up to 8 times on the scanner. The images can be viewed on the 1.44 inch display on the top to ensure accuracy. It comes with a 700 mAh of rechargeable lithium polymer battery having a capacity to scan almost 700-1000 pages in one go. It scans a single page in less than 3 seconds with the quality defined from 300 DPI to 1050 DPI. The scanner is priced at Rs.6999/-
