Dreame K10 Pro Review: Almost Dyson-Level Cleaning at One-Third the Price
I am over 30 years old and one thing that hasn't changed in all these years is how I've seen my home getting cleaned. It was never a one-step job, and it still isn't. We first sweep or vacuum the dust, then mop with water to get that satisfying shine. That's why simple vacuum cleaners often fall short here. The Dreame K10 Pro, priced at ₹19,999, is designed exactly for our style of cleaning. It vacuums and mops at the same time, saving both effort and time.
But how good is it really? And should you consider it over something like the Dyson WashG1, which costs nearly three times more? Let's find out.

- Vacuums and mops in one go
- Strong suction
- Easy to maneuver
- Large water tanks
- Simple maintenance
- LED display and voice prompts
- Great value at ₹19,999
- Slightly heavy during long sessions
- Corners may still need manual touch-up
- Battery takes 3 hours to recharge
- Not for carpets or sofas
Design and Build
The K10 Pro has a clean, all-white design that looks modern and premium. At about 3.8 kg, it's lighter than Dyson's WashG1 (around 4.9 kg), so carrying it around isn't a hassle.

The handle is comfortable, and the self-propelled traction system helps the vacuum move forward on its own, so you're mostly guiding it instead of pushing hard. The swivel head makes it easy to turn around chairs and under tables.

The water tanks are well-sized - 890 ml for clean water and 600 ml for dirty water. That's enough to cover a 2-3BHK without stopping mid-cleaning. The tanks are transparent and easy to refill or empty.
Compared to Dyson, the K10 Pro feels simpler. Dyson's WashG1 uses dual rollers and has separate trays for solids and liquids, but that also makes it heavier and more complex to clean. Dreame's design is straightforward, which many Indian buyers will actually prefer.
Features
This is more than just a vacuum with water spray. The twin scraper system ensures dirt and hair get picked up at the front while excess water is wiped off at the back, so the floor isn't left soaking wet.

It offers three key modes:
Auto Mode - adjusts suction and water use automatically based on how dirty the floor is.
Turbo Mode - max power for stubborn messes.
Suction-Only - works like a regular vacuum when you don't want to mop.
There's also a self-clean button. Once you're done, place it on the dock and it washes its own roller brush, and it works surprisingly well. No need to get your hands dirty.

The LED screen shows battery, mode, and tank alerts, while voice prompts guide you through things like emptying the tank or starting self-cleaning. Dyson doesn't offer voice guidance or a screen; you rely on lights and buttons.
Performance in Daily Use
In everyday cleaning, the K10 Pro shines. It easily picks up dust, biscuit crumbs, and even heavier bits like rice or dal from hard floors. For spills - a cup of chai, juice, or even curry - it vacuums and mops them up quickly. Floors are left slightly damp but dry within minutes, without streaks.
The edge cleaning is impressive - the roller gets within about 6mm of walls, so very little dust is left along the skirting. Sharp 90° corners may still need a quick wipe, but overall it does better than most stick vacuums or robots.

Pet hair is also handled well, thanks to the scraper that prevents tangles around the roller. Noise levels are manageable - Auto mode is fairly quiet, Turbo is louder but not unbearable.
Dyson WashG1 does go one step further with its dual rollers and hydration jets, which leave floors almost instantly dry and perfectly streak-free. But in real-world use and one third of the price, the difference isn't huge - Dreame is already good enough for daily cleaning.
Battery Life
The K10 Pro runs for about 25-30 minutes in Auto mode, enough for a medium-sized apartment. If you use Turbo a lot, expect closer to 18-20 minutes. Charging takes around 3 hours.

This is similar to Dyson's WashG1, which claims up to 35 minutes. Dyson's battery is removable, while Dreame's isn't. But for most homes, 30 minutes per session is plenty.
Maintenance
Maintenance is usually the pain point with wet vacuums, but Dreame makes it easy. The self-cleaning cycle flushes water through the roller and pipes, so you don't have to scrub manually. You just empty the dirty water tank and rinse it.
The dirty tank even has a strainer to catch bigger particles like food bits, so your sink doesn't clog. Occasionally, you'll want to remove the roller to air-dry it, which takes seconds.

Dyson has a filter-free design, which means one less part to wash, but its dual-roller setup and debris tray mean more pieces to maintain. In forums, some Dyson users mentioned difficulty cleaning its multiple crevices. Dreame, with fewer parts, feels more practical.
Dreame K10 Pro vs Dyson WashG1
| Aspect | Dreame K10 Pro | Dyson WashG1 |
| Weight | 3.8 kg | 4.9 kg |
| Water Tanks | 890 ml clean / 600 ml dirty | Similar, but more complex system |
| Cleaning Head | Single roller + twin scrapers | Dual counter-rotating rollers + hydration jets |
| Edge Cleaning | ~6 mm gap | Six-point edge contact (slightly better) |
| Runtime | ~30 min | ~35 min |
| Extras | LED screen + voice prompts | No screen, no voice |
| Self-Cleaning | One-touch | Automatic cycle |
| Price (India) | ₹19,999 | ~₹55,900 |
Dyson clearly has the more premium engineering. Its dual rollers and edge cleaning are slightly better, and its filter-free design is clever. But here's the catch: in India, the Dyson WashG1 costs almost three times more.
In daily use, the K10 Pro does 90-95% of what Dyson offers - clean floors, easy operation, self-cleaning - at a fraction of the price. For most Indian households, that difference in value cannot be ignored.

Verdict
The Dreame K10 Pro is one of those gadgets that fits Indian homes perfectly. It combines vacuuming and mopping, saves effort, and actually leaves your floors cleaner than traditional methods. It's easy to use, easy to maintain, and priced far more reasonably than high-end alternatives.
The Dyson WashG1 may be the flashier, more advanced machine, but at over ₹55,000, it feels excessive for most households. The Dreame K10 Pro at ₹19,999 gives you almost the same daily results without burning a hole in your pocket.
If you're tired of doing broom + pocha every day, the Dreame K10 Pro is one of the smartest cleaning investments you can make for your home.
