This week, the tech world has been sizzled with the launch of the long delayed BlackBerry 10 operating system and two smartphones based on it - Q10 and Z10.

Over the week, the Indian tech market has also been splashed with a low of budget tech offerings from several manufacturers including local and global vendors. It is quite interesting to note that there is not tablet launch this week.

Moreover, all the smartphones that have been launched fall under budget price points and are equipped with impressive specifications.

BlackBerry Q10 similar specs expect for the difference in the display. The handset comes with a QWERTY keyboard and hence, it has a 3.1 inch display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels.

Lava has priced Xolo X500 at Rs 8,999 making it a reasonable offering in the budget conscious Indian market.

A89 Ninja has been listed on a couple of online retailers including Infibeam.com and MyVirtualPlaza.com with a price tag of Rs 6,299.
