The first few days of December has seen a few launches, especially some of them that were not announced or rumored earlier including Nokia Lumia 620, Sony's Xperia E smartphone duo and many others.

Sony Mobile Communications has announced the latest addition to the Xperia smartphone range with the affordable Xperia E. This Android smartphone will have both single SIM and dual SIM versions and would be out by the first quarter of next year.

As far as specs are concerned, running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Xperia E and E Dual will have a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, 3.2 MP rear camera, VGA front camera for video calling, 3G, EDGE, DLNA, 4GB internal memory, 32GB additional storage support with microSD card slot, 512MB RAM and 1,500 mAh battery.

Further, Xperia E comes equipped with superior sound quality with the in-built Walkman application that includes xLOUD audio technology, 3D surround sound and a manual equalizer.

Nokia Lumia 620 is youth targeted and uses a new dual -shot color technique to deliver a variety of striking colors and texture effects.

Coming to the specs, Lumia 620 is packed with a 3.8 inch TFT WVGA capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, ClearBlack technology, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 5MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, VGA front facing camera for video calling, 512MB RAM,
8GB mass memory, micro SD support up to 64GB, 7GB free Microsoft SkyDrive storage and a 1,300 mAh battery.

Moreover, besides the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity features, Lumia 620 comes with NFC, thereby assuring assures easy pairing with NFC enabled accessories like JBL play up portable speaker.

Samsung has released the music centric smartphone dubbed as Galaxy Music and its dual SIM version Galaxy Music Duos in India.

Galaxy Music packs a 3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution, 850MHz Cortex A9 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB and 3MP rear camera.

Based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based smartphone has connectivity features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0 and a 1,300 mAh Li-ion battery.

Wickedleak has now expanded its smartphone portfolio with Wammy Sensation - a 4.7 inch smartphone. Wammy Sensation comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it is upgradeable to Jelly Bean.

Wammy Sensation boasts a 4.7 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 1.2GHz dual core Cortex A9 processor, Android 4.0 ICS, 12MP rear camera, 3MP front camera for video calling, 4GB internal storage capacity, 1GB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.

When it comes to data connectivity, the handset comes packed with features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, in-built GPS with A-GPS, 3G and is loaded with a 2,000 mAh battery offering 4 hours of talk time and 200 hours of stand by.

Wammy Sensation is priced at Rs 16,000 and the handset is available for pre-booking at Wickedleak's website www.wickedleak.org and will be shipped starting from December 15, 2012.

Nokia India website listed a dual SIM handset dubbed as Nokia 114 with a 1.8 inch TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, 16MB internal storage, 64MB mass memory, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB additional storage, 0.3MP rear camera, Nokia's Series 40 platform, Bluetooth 2.1, GPRS, EDGE and 1,020 mAh BL-5C battery offering up to 10.5 hours talktime and 637 hours standby.

As of now, there is no information on the price and availability of the dual SIM Nokia 114, however, analysts predict that it could be launched in near future with a price tag of Rs 2,500 approximately.

Fujitsu has launched a new Windows 8 based tablet PC version named Fujitsu Stylistic Q702su, a hybrid tablet PC which comes with an 11.6 inch HD dual digitized multi-touch display, 4 cell battery with a secondary battery in the keyboard, 3G/UTMS, 4G/LTE mobile data, 4GB DDR3 RAM, biometric finger print sensor, accelerometer, gyrometer, and magnetometer and light sensors to offer a different computing experience and front and rear cameras.

Apart from Stylistic Q702su, Fujitsu has also brought in a modified version of LifeBook T902. The new model is designed as a convertible tablet PC aiming at consumers expecting a PC that can deliver better performance compared to a tablet PC. The LifeBook T902 can run on Windows8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows 7. It can support up to 16GB of RAM, 250 GB of non-FDE and 128 GB of Full Disk Encryption. This Lifebook comes in two variants powered by Intel Core i5 or i7 processors.

Zync, an India based manufacturer of budget tablets has launched Z99 2G, its first 2G tablet with voice calling feature at Rs 6,990.

Zync Z99 2G packs a 7 inch TFT LCD 5 point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 1.2GHz processor, Mali 400 3D GPU, Android 4.0 ICS operating system, dual 0.3MP front and rear camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB onboard storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, in-built Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, micro USB, 3G through dongle, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Priced at Rs 6,990, Zync Z99 2G is preloaded with BigFlix, Skype, WhatsApp, MSN, Aldiko e-book reader and Adobe Reader.
