Snapdeal Brings GOQii Fitness Band and Services in India starting at Rs 5999: Pre-Order Now
It looks like Indian e-commerce sites are quite interested in bringing foreign products in India off late. Moto G and Moto X have already been launched by the popular online retailer Flipkart and now another highly known retailer Snapdeal has partnered with the US-based GOQii.

GOQii has a fitness band and services which Snapdeal has brought to India. The six-month plan (service) is reportedly said to cost Rs 5,999, while the 12-month package has been priced at Rs 9,999. The device will start shipping to customers in April, that's next month. According to Snapdeal, the customers can place orders for a GOQii subscription directly from its official site with the complete plan including the proprietary GOQii band, the GOQii Personal Coach service and the GOQii app.
The band, which works after being connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth LE, keeps track of the amount of exercise you've done during a specified period and sends the data to the connected app that you'll be asked to download onto your handset. The GOQii comes with real human coaches and lifestyle/nutrition experts who can use this information to set you on the path to a healthy life.
The e-commerce site describes the product as a device that helps you make a permanent shift to a healthier lifestyle. It only weighs 23 grams and features touch screen OLED display, 360 degree motion sensor and more. There is a battery which the company says will last up to 4 to 5 days on a single charge.
