While the end of a year isn't a time that most people look forward, the Indian tech community has always been excited about it. Why? Well, simply because it happens to be that period in which manufacturers launch their most important tech products in the country.
This year promises to be more exciting than most with some solid launches coming our way. We're looking forward to some solid video game consoles, exciting new laptops with 3G, some of the most stunning tablets that we've ever seen, and even a couple of flexible phones.
If you'd like more details on the products up for launch, then scroll down to the slider below.
Talking about releases this year, come November 1st, and India will be all set to receive Apple's iPhone 5S and 5C, the company's new smartphones which went on to sell over 9 million units on their opening weekend. More recent reports show that the all-meltal iPhone 5S is selling two times faster than its plasticy counterpart, the 5C. Gizbot is curious about the reception of the smartphones in India.
Will consumers here embrace both, the expensive metal phone and the slightly cheaper colorful 5C with equal affection? Or will Apple's iPhone 5C fail to win takers in Indian markets? Studies show that the iPhone 5S's Champagne Gold color might have been designed specifically for Asian markets. However, the color variant has proved to be rather popular in the US as well, with Apple reportedly placing an order for more of those units.
