Activision Brings Out 007 Legends Video Game
To celebrate 50 years of James Bond Activision has released 007 Legends video game in the market recently. Available at North American retail outlets starting October 16, across Europe on October 19 and in Australia on October 31st, 007 Legends is the latest installment in the esteemed franchise.
Delivering a first-of-its-kind Bond video game experience featuring a story inspired by five classic Bond films – Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, Die Another Day, 007 Legends will feature a sixth mission based on this year's highly anticipated Bond film – Skyfall – which will be available to unlock as downloadable content.
Timed to the North American release of the feature film, PlayStation Network subscribers will gain exclusive early access to the Skyfall mission on November 9, 2012, and then on November 20, 2012, the mission will be available on Xbox LIVE online entertainment network.
007 Legends explores Bond's gritty journey to his current status as the world's favorite secret agent. Each movie-inspired mission in 007 Legends features multiple levels filled with state-of-the-art spy gadgets, an arsenal of weapons, sleek vehicles, exotic locations, and intense situations that require Bond's quick wits, combat expertise, and stealth actions to take down notorious villains and their brutal henchmen.
007 Legends also features an impressive roster of past and present Bond film talent, including Daniel Craig's James Bond; Michael Lonsdale as the villainous Hugo Drax and Richard Kiel as his notorious henchman, Jaws, from Moonraker; Naomie Harris as Eve from Skyfall; Toby Stephens as Gustav Graves in Die Another Day; and Carey Lowell as Agent Pam Bouvier in Licence to Kill.
Developed by Eurocom, under license from EON Productions Ltd. and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc. (MGM), 007 Legends is available now for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. The Windows PC version, which will be available on Steam, will launch on November 2, 2012, and the version for Nintendo's Wii U system is planned to launch in December 2012. 007 Legends is rated "T" (Teen – Blood, Drug Reference, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Violence – content suitable for ages 13 and older) by the ESRB.
