Angry Birds Seasons: Rovio to Roll Out Spring Update With Interesting Trick Shots

Finnish game maker, Rovio Entertainment is prepping up to release a new update to highly popular mobile game Angry Birds Seasons.

 

According to the latest report by Angry Birds community website, angrybirdnest, the new spring update (episode 16) will bring in the flavor of the spring season, along with some 'interesting trick shots.' What can we expect to see in the new episode?

 
Angry Birds Seasons: Rovio to Roll Out Spring Update

There are quite a few astronomy related event happening in April and May, including Astronomy Day on April 20th, meteor showers April 21st / 22nd and May 4th / 5th, a partial lunar eclipse on April 25th and the annual solar eclipse on May 10th. The website speculates that these events may have a influence on how the levels might look like.

Apparently with the new update Angry Birds Seasons will overcome restrictions on the number of allowable leaderboards by introducing visual distinction between Power Up scores and clean scores. This feature will be similar to the one found in Angry Birds Space.

There is no information on the release date of the update, but is said to come out in a few weeks time. Gizbot will let you know more about the update, as soon as it get's more details.

Meanwhile, Angry Birds Toons (animated series) is up and running. Currently, 5 episodes of the 52 part series have been aired. A new episode will be aired every week.
