The site even managed to get managed to get a 7-minute footage of what the next game will look like. The footage video of Assassin's Creed: Victory shows off an in-development version of the game that Kotaku reports runs on Ubisoft's Anvil engine.

After the news report went viral online, Ubisoft has apparently issued the following statement that confirms the Assassin's Creed: Victory.

"It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we're disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we're excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin's Creed Unity for players".

The "Assassin's Creed" series has been known for its realistic game settings. Earlier this year, Ubisoft had announced that the Assassin's Creed topped the list, with a total of 73 million games sold across the series since its debut in 2007.
