CEO of Rovio stated, “There's a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we've been constantly asked: what about the pigs' side of the story? The company sources added that the new Bad Piggies game is designed for those who love the pigs’ characters in the Angry Birds universe and wish to play the game from their perspective.

Rovio hinted that that the new game will be made available for Android, iOS, and Mac on September 27.
