Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 New Zombies Mode Released

Activision and Treyarch, developers of Black Ops 2 have released a new video giving more insight in to the Zombies mode in the game. The new video suggests the Zombies Mode to be more elaborate than the regular ‘shoot all the zombies’ method. In the traditional zombie mode, players will team up in defending waves of zombies. Even though this feature is still there, the latest game features two more additional modes.

The two newly added modes include:

    • Tranzit

    • Grief

Each of the modes is unique in its own way.

    Tranzit Mode

Tranzit Mode features players working co-operatively, progressing through a story mode based on zombies. Mark Lamia, Head of Treyarch Studio stated that players will be having a ‘massive world’ for exploration. He added that there will be more items and defenses with the latest zombie mode which could be collected by the players.

The latest mode will feature a bus that can be used by players for transportation. But the levels are designed in such a way so as to allow zombies also to enter the bus, making the situation trickier and difficult. Sources suggest the ‘Tranzit Mode’ to be a continuation of the moon map story that featured in the original version of Black Ops.

    Grief Mode

Grief Mode is designed as a ‘Competitive Survival Mode’. It allocates two teams of varying sizes to fight against a group of zombies. Both of the two teams will fight to achieve the position of the last team standing. The twist comes with the inability of the players to shoot players of the other team. But users will be provided with several ways to trouble each other and hence the name of the mode is given as ‘Grief Mode’. The game is definitely going to be something users will look forward too.
