Cooler Master CM Storm Recon Gaming Mouse Now Available in India at Rs 3,999
CM Storm Recon, the gaming mouse from Cooler Master was launched in India on Wednesday. The mouse is unique with its ambidextrous characteristics as well as the firm grip it provides because of the layer of rubber coating it. It does not have a laser sensor, but instead has an optical sensor, Avago A3090.
The gaming mouse is designed for a wide range of gamers with different styles. The mouse is superior in terms of both aesthetics and performance. Its ambidextrosity as well as the firm grip makes the mouse an ideal one for most gamers. The mouse facilitates both claw grip as well as palm grip with its unique design. The shape, material and the weight of the mouse are just perfect to facilitate these functions.
The CM Storm Recon houses Omron micro-mechanical switches of very high quality as well as a pair of DPI switches for adjusting sensitivity conveniently. The sensor Avago A3090 in Recon is similar to DeathAdder 3.5’s S3888 sensor except that it has a modified RAM and LED instead of IR as in the case Death Adder’s sensor. However, tracking accuracy is on similar levels, which is really good.
CM Storm Recon consists of a comprehensive driver suite featuring full-button programming as well as macro functions. In addition, resolution can be set along with USB polling rate in about four presets. The provision of a built-in memory allows you to store settings in different profiles avoiding the need to re-program every time the mouse is connected to a different PC.
The Recon, with its optical sensor functions on both hard and soft surfaces. However, it did not show any movements in mouse pads having a red color tinge. It was also observed that the speed was too less on certain surfaces such as Cooler Master’s own Speed-RX micro-woven cloth mat.
CM Storm Recon can be bought at a price of Rs. 3,999.
