Grand Theft Auto 5 Is the Best Selling Game of 2013: Top 5 Reasons Why You Should Buy It
Unless you have been living under a rock, Take-Two Interactive's latest addition to the Grand Theft Auto series - Grand Theft Auto 5 - has been one of the most popular games of 2013. Now, rightfully enough, Take-Two Interactive has announced via its fiscal Q3 earnings report that the title is 2013's best-selling video game.
"Take-Two's business continued to outperform expectations significantly during the fiscal third quarter," said Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two. "Our results were driven by robust holiday demand for Grand Theft Auto V, the franchise record-breaking launch of NBA 2K14, the successful release of WWE 2K14, and strong growth in digitally-delivered revenues led by Grand Theft Auto Online. Take-Two was the top video game publisher of 2013, according to the NPD Group, underscoring our positive momentum over the past year."
And while this will hardly come as a surprise to anyone following the game, which claimed more than $1 billion is sales, there are still a number of fans still waiting to invest in the game, or are not sure if the game is indeed worth investing in.
If that is the case, then it's needed to be said that the title has sold more than 32.5 million units to date with fan grabbing their copies of the game as soon as possible. But then again, why should anyone be influenced just by numbers?

We understand that and so here are the top 5 reasons why you should grab your copy of GTA 5 if you still haven't got it.
Biggest Open World Ever
Sandbox games are the order of the day, and the ones that offer massive open worlds are the most popular. The GTA franchise has used that formula again and again in its previous titles and has now finally come up with the biggest open world ever.
But what makes an open-world so great, you ask? Well, the option of doing whatever you want to do in-game. Fight people, take on random passer bys or even go for a ride in a vast world that doesn't seem to get over no matter how much you travel. And GTA 5 is the perfect example of that.
GTA 5's open world, apparently, is so huge that even if you combine the worlds of GTA 4 and San Andreas along with that of Red Dead Redemption, it will still be not enough to fill the world that's been created for GTA 5. So grab a copy, play missions and explore more than you can imagine.
Not One But Three Characters
Another special reason to grab a copy of the game is the fact that this is the first time the GTA franchise has introduced not one, but three different characters - namely Trevor, Michael and Franklin.
While we don't want to ruin your enthusiasm before you can even go out and grab a copy of the game, we will just let you'll know that all the three characters come from vastly different backgrounds, with different special skills, hangouts and friends.
In-game Activities
Now you can do more than just going to the gym, bowling or even nab a random car to go on a joy ride. Apparently, GTA 5 allows you to go long-distance bicycling, skydiving, scuba diving and even do yoga and much more.
Active World
Apart from being an open-world, the game also offers lifelike in-game NPCs that roam about with their own specified set of activities. Even if we don't consider the NPCs, the characters themselves are involved in their own activities. You will just need to switch from one character to the other via the overhead satellite. Get the game and find out how it blends gameplay and cut-scenes perfectly.

Online Gameplay
With multiplayer gaming becoming more and more popular in recent times, it's only natural that a franchise such as GTA will look to bite the online cake. Get into the world and you'll find out that there are hundreds of missions and a huge list of activities with exciting features that you can access once in the game.
