Kaththi-Official 3D Game Review: A Perfect Companion for Fans

The Kaththi Game is an Arcade game developed by Skytou to compliment and promote the release of South Indian super star Vijay's movie Kaththi. The game features a 3D rendering of Vijay's character 'Kathir' taking on goons enroute to rescuing his love Ankita, played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the movie.

Requirements:

The Kaththi game requires 43MB of storage space and runs on Android 2.3 or higher. There are no in-app purchases as such.

Theme:

As told earlier, the theme is basically Kathir taking on the armed and dangerous goons in hand-to-hand combat,gun battles and bike racing in order the rescue Ankitha from their captivity.

GamePlay:

The Gameplay on Kaththi is very simple and has 3 or more controls depending on the level: controls for movements, kicks and punches. The game has its issues, there are not many moves to choose from and the lag is a mood killer. There's also these instances where the character you portray glides around without any prompt from your side.

Verdict:

The kaththi could have been a lot better. It's as though the developers made the game just for the sake of it. The graphics is poor. The music too is not noteworthy. All in all, the game, which is sometimes fun, is forgettable. However, fans of Vijay will really take a liking to it.
