For all those people who are drooling fans of the latest blockbuster movie Avengers, here comes a great news for you.

Marvel would soon be releasing Avengers game for mobile platforms. Although no official confirmation has been made, without any details on which platforms the game will be released – a trailer has been released by Marvel which gives a hint for the release to happen soon.

Reportedly, the plot of the game revolves around a pulse from space which breaks down the complex security system of SHIELD prison. This results in the escape of convicts like Humanoid, Wendigo, Zzzax, Skrull and Kronan. The target of the Avengers will be to stop these Villains from spreading horror and chaos and to 'Smash' them in the end.

First look

From the first look, the trailer appears to be promising an interesting game play. Players can expect sequences from the movie and similar missions to be incorporated in the game. At the end of the teaser, game’s important character Nick Fury can be heard saying that he will be splitting up the Avengers team to pursue individual missions.

Characters and release

Main characters in the Avengers game include Black Widow – who is the only female character in the game, Thor the furious son of god, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, the master archer Hawk eye, Captain America, Loki and Nick Fury himself.

Fury, a Colonel with the U.S army who happens to be the director of SHIELD recruits and heads the Avengers team.

Several Avenger based games and game add-ons were released by various vendors after the huge success of the movie. However a genuine game adaptation of the movie was still lacking. Gamers will still have to wait for some more time before the game is officially released by Marvel.
