Microsoft at E3 2014 Announces Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Assassin’s Creed Unity And More

At Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Microsoft unveiled the future of gaming on Xbox One through a spectacular lineup of games for the international holiday season. The titles for Xbox One, will include "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," as well as highly anticipated exclusives such as "Sunset Overdrive," "Forza Horizon 2," "Fable Legends" and "Dance Central Spotlight."

From start to finish, Microsoft's annual E3 press briefing featured wall-to-wall games and highlighted the deep passion for gaming that Xbox creators share with their most dedicated fans.

Showcasing the power of the cloud and the best multiplayer experience on Xbox Live, Xbox exclusives shared the stage with "Assassin's Creed Unity," "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," "Evolve" and "Rise of the Tomb Raider," and independent games such as "Inside," adding to a growing library of games on Xbox One. In addition, beginning today, gamers can choose to buy an all-new Xbox One option for $399. Xbox One with Kinect will continue to be available.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Activision showed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare gameplay demonstration in full glory. Of course the game play was impressive.

Forza Horizon 2, Evolve and Assassin’s Creed Unity

The seriousness continued with Forza Horizon 2, Evolve and Assassin's Creed Unity. Turn 10 shows Forza Horizon 2 1080p gameplay demo. The game will be made available for Xbox One on September 30. Evolve, another high-profile game, is coming this fall. It will be made available on both Xbox One and Xbox 360. What else? Ubisoft also show next-gen Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay demo.

Dragon Age III: Inquisition, Sunset Overdrive and Dance Central 4: Spotlight

BioWare announce Dragon Age III: Inquisition with a gameplay trailer. The game will hit Xbox One on October 7. Insomniac Games reveals Sunset Overdrive teaser trailer. Dance Central 4: Spotlight is coming exclusively on Xbox One in Fall 2014.

Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection

The biggest surprise of the day was indeed the coming of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes HD remakes and DLC from Halo 1, 2, 3 & 4 for Xbox One. It will be made available on November 11. The first teaser of Halo 5: Guardians made every one excited. The multiplayer beta is coming in Fall 2014.

Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Phantom Dust

Microsoft released the debut trailer of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Although, Microsoft did not reveal much of information; the title will be launched to the Xbox One in Fall 2015. The other games that were showcased on E3 include gameplay demos of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Phantom Dust.

Microsoft Xbox One Coming to India

Yes, it's true! Microsoft's Xbox One is finally coming to India in September 23 at Rs. 39,990. The Xbox One with Kinect sensor will cost Rs. 45, 990. Both models will come bundled with a 500 GB hard drive, Xbox Box wireless Controller, and a free 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members. Sony's PlayStation 4, a rival home console, is selling for 39,990 in India.


Following the path of Sony, Microsoft today announced that a new batch of independent games will soon arrive on Xbox One. The following games will be launched on Xbox One platform in the coming days: #IDARB, Another World - 20th Anniversary, Aztez, Calibre 10 Racing Series, Chariot, Cuphead, Divekick, Earthlock: Festival of Magic, Fenix Rage, Fibbage, Forced, FRU, INSIDE, Get Even, Grave, Guacamelee Super Turbo CE, Habitat, Hellraid, Hyper Light Drifter, Knight Squad, Lifeless Planet, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, among others.
