Arc X1 Made in India Handheld Gaming Console with Snapdragon Chip Launched: Specifications, Price, Features

Homegrown gaming company Arc has entered India's handheld gaming market with the Arc X1, a portable gaming device powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 Gaming Platform.

It features a 7-inch 120Hz display, active cooling, programmable controls and a custom Android-based operating system. Arc says the handheld was developed over 16 months with feedback from its gaming community.

Arc X1 Price in India and Availability

The Arc X1 price in India starts at Rs. 29,500 for users who joined the early waitlist. Early-access orders will open on October 2.

The handheld will also be available to general buyers at Rs. 33,500.

Arc X1 Specifications and Features

The Arc X1 features a 7-inch Full HD LTPS TFT LCD display with a 1,920 × 1,080-pixel resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers up to 500 nits typical brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, the handheld is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 Gaming Platform, featuring an octa-core Qualcomm Kryo CPU and Adreno A22 GPU. It comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM at 8,533 MT/s and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 1TB using a compatible microSDXC card.

For thermal management, the Arc X1 gets an active cooling system with a centrifugal fan, drawing air through the rear vents and exhausting it from the top.

The controls include zero-drift TMR analogue sticks, microswitch ABXY buttons, a D-pad and Hall-effect analogue triggers with mechanical trigger locks. There are also two programmable rear buttons, while dual Linear Resonant Actuators provide haptic feedback.

The handheld runs OwlOS, based on the Android Open Source Project. It offers per-game performance and control profiles, frame-rate overlays, resolution scaling, custom fan curves and Quick Resume.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, USB OTG and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device packs a large 9,300mAh battery with 27W charging and is claimed to offer more than eight hours of battery life in Silent Mode.
