BGMI 4.0 Update Release Date & Time: Check New Features, Mechanics, and More

The eagerly awaited 4.0 update for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is on the horizon. Scheduled for release on 11th September at 7:30 AM IST, Krafton India will begin the rollout of this update, which promises to introduce a Spooky Soiree Themed Mode, along with new weapons and additional content.

Players can anticipate the introduction of Ghostie, a ghost companion visible only to them unless a skill is activated. Ghostie can possess one main skill and two passive skills simultaneously. These skills include Floating Balloon and Guardian Shield as main skills, while passive skills range from Armorer to Heal.

New Features in BGMI 4.0 Update

The Spooky Soiree Themed Mode will bring new locations and features to the game. One such location is Wraithmoor Mansion, a grand estate filled with oddities and supernatural decor. This area includes a botanical garden, labyrinth, memorial area, and plant cultivation zone. Within the mansion lies a magic mirror that reveals treasures when activated.

Additionally, players will encounter timid ghosts disguised as objects in the environment. Attacking these ghosts will force them out of hiding, leaving supplies behind. However, careless attacks may scare them away. Some crates contain ghosts that reveal nearby player locations when opened.

Exciting Additions: Magic Broom and Strength Potion

A magical broom capable of carrying up to two players is also part of the update. This broom can be summoned at any time for free flight and includes dash and sweep abilities for enhanced mobility and enemy engagement.

The Strength Potion is another consumable item introduced in this update. It grants users a special buff for 50 seconds, allowing faster movement, higher jumps, and reduced damage intake. However, firearms cannot be used during this period.

Interactive Gameplay with Performing Dead

Midway through matches, players will receive notifications about concerts featuring the ghost band "The Performing Dead." Entering these concert areas triggers performances by the band. Players can interact with band members to improve their performance quality in exchange for faster supply rewards.

If players hear a ghost playing an incorrect note during the concert, they can offer reminders to help improve performance quality. In return, performing ghosts may alert players to nearby enemies' general direction.

This comprehensive update aims to enhance gameplay by introducing new elements like Ghostie's skills and interactive concerts with The Performing Dead band. With its array of features designed to enrich player experience further than ever before seen within BGMI's universe thus far!
