BGMI Gully Wars 2026: How to Register for India's New Esports Tournament with Rs 10 Lakh Prize Pool

JioBLAST and KRAFTON India have opened registrations for BGMI Gully Wars, a new all-India Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament aimed at giving non-professional players a route into organised esports. The competition carries a Rs 10 lakh prize pool, with registrations open until October 6.

The tournament is being pitched at players who have built their skills in local squads, college circles and online communities, but have not yet competed on a larger stage. Its campaign theme, “APNA NAAM BANA”, underlines that grassroots positioning, with teams from across India allowed to enter.

BGMI Gully Wars Schedule and Format

BGMI Gully Wars will start with an In-Game Qualifier scheduled from October 14 to October 20. Teams that advance from the opening stage will move through later rounds before the Grand Finals, where the final 16 teams will compete for the title and prize pool.

The organisers have not detailed every round structure in the announcement, but the broad format follows a familiar path for large mobile esports events in India. Open registrations widen the entry pool, while qualifiers help identify teams capable of performing consistently beyond casual squad play.

For emerging players, that structure matters because BGMI’s competitive ecosystem is often difficult to enter without visibility. Open tournaments can work as a discovery layer, especially for teams outside established esports organisations. Strong performances in such events can help players attract attention from scouts, teams and tournament organisers.

How Players Can Register for BGMI Gully Wars

Players can sign up through the KRAFTON India Esports website. New users need to create an account on the platform. Existing users can log in with their registered credentials or use OTP verification, depending on their account setup.

After signing in, players can select the BGMI Gully Wars registration banner on the website. They can also go to the Tournaments section and choose the “Register Now” option for the event. Teams should complete registration before the October 6 deadline to be considered for the qualifier stage.

The tournament is being organised by JioBLAST and KRAFTON India. JioBLAST brings together BLAST’s esports entertainment experience with RISE Worldwide’s sports and event management background. KRAFTON India operates BGMI in the country and says the game has crossed 260 million downloads.

KRAFTON India also runs major BGMI competitions such as Battlegrounds Mobile India Series and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series. BGMI Gully Wars adds another entry point below the top competitive tier, giving newer teams a structured platform to test themselves.
