Acer has once again set the stage for innovation in the handheld gaming market with the introduction of its latest devices, the Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11, during CES 2025. These devices bring forth not only enhancements in display size and resolution over their predecessor, the Nitro Blaze 7, but also maintain the high standards of processor and core specifications that gamers have come to expect from Acer's offerings.
The Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11 are equipped with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, complemented by Ryzen AI, capable of achieving up to 39 AI TOPS. This is paired with Radeon 780M graphics, delivering groundbreaking performance. Furthermore, these devices boast 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a substantial 2TB SSD, ensuring speed and storage are not issues for the modern gamer.

Gaming Features
Beyond raw specifications, Acer has focused on enhancing the gaming experience through technological advancements. Both models feature touch displays that offer up to 144 Hz refresh rates for smooth gameplay, supported by AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution for superior graphical upscaling.
Additionally, the display brightness reaches up to 500 nits, ensuring clarity and vibrant visuals. The Nitro Blaze 8 sports an 8.8-inch display, while the Nitro Blaze 11 offers a larger 10.95-inch screen, both providing gamers with immersive experiences.

The Nitro Blaze 8 (GN782U) and Nitro Blaze 11 (GN7112U) share several core features, including Windows 11 Home as their operating system and a myriad of ports for connectivity. They both support the latest in wireless technology with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

In addition to the handheld devices, Acer has introduced the Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller, designed for both Android and iOS devices. This controller can accommodate screens up to 8.3 inches and features a foldable design for portability.

It connects via a USB Type-C port and supports 18W fast charging, promising gamers a seamless experience across different platforms. Available in North America and EMEA, the controller starts at USD 69.99 (Rs. 5,995 approx.) and EUR 89.99 (USD 93 / Rs. 8,015 approx.), respectively.
