Clash of Clans -- the freemium mobile strategy game from Supercell is currently one of the leading titles in online strategy-based games. It was originally launched in 2013 and the company has been adding new features to keep the game interesting and engaging.

The company is known for announcing major upgrades and changes at the end of every year, under the name winter update. This year, Supercell has finally announced the much anticipated Town Hall 13 with its own defense system called Giga Inferno powered by Dark Elixir and Ice.

The Town Hall 13 also unlocks several new features which will be unveiled in the coming days. Do note that, in order to upgrade to the Town Hall 13, one has to have a fully upgraded Town Hall 12 and rush updating your base will not work.

In a Blogspot, Clash of Clans shares that Giga Inferno will start to kick in when the Town Hall 13 reaches zero hit points, where it explodes and damages the enemy unit within a certain range.

When the Giga Inferno is upgraded to level 3, it gets a few more tricks like the haze of ice will blanket an area surrounding the destroyed Town Hall, slowing the enemies down for a duration of time depending on the level of the Giga Inferno.

This is one of the most powerful defense system updates, as it can even the Grand Warden's Eternal Tome doesn't grant full immunity to the effects of the Giga Inferno. The company has also shared a short video that demonstrates the Town Hall 13 live in action.


When The Update Will Go Live?

As of now, the company hasn't shared the exact time time-frame. Considering previous updates, the Town Hall 13 should be made available for users well before Christmas 2019.
