Computex 2025: NVIDIA Expands DLSS 4 to 125+ Games, Adds Big Titles Like DOOM: The Dark Ages and F1 25

NVIDIA used its Computex 2025 stage to showcase just how far DLSS 4 has come-and how fast it's growing. As of this month, the AI-powered upscaling tech is now supported in over 125 games and applications, with more joining every week. It's not just about frame rates anymore; DLSS 4 is quietly reshaping what performance means for modern PC games, especially for those running on the latest RTX 50 series hardware.

Here's a breakdown of what's new, what games are being upgraded, and why this matters if you're building or upgrading a gaming PC.

Computex 2025: NVIDIA Expands DLSS 4 to 125+ Games

DLSS 4: What's Different This Time?

DLSS 4 introduces a feature called Multi Frame Generation, which can create up to three extra AI-generated frames for every traditionally rendered one. It builds on what DLSS 3 started but offers significantly improved frame-rate scaling-up to 8 times in some cases-on compatible hardware. The leap in adoption has also been impressive. While DLSS 3 took a while to find traction, DLSS 4 has already crossed the 125-game mark just five months after its release.

Every game that supports DLSS 4 also comes with DLSS Super Resolution (for general performance boosts) and Reflex (for lower latency), meaning this isn't a cherry-picked feature.

DOOM, F1, and Crimson Desert Get Major Upgrades

A few titles stood out in NVIDIA's announcement. DOOM: The Dark Ages will get a big update in June, bringing path-traced lighting and support for DLSS Ray Reconstruction. This improves both the realism and image stability, especially in scenes with complex reflections or lighting. If you have a recent RTX card, you'll see sharper visuals with better frame rates-all without traditional denoising tricks.

F1 25, launching later this month, will also be among the first racing games to include path tracing and DLSS 4 support from day one. Players can expect smoother gameplay and higher fidelity visuals, with Reflex reducing input lag to make high-speed turns feel more responsive.

Crimson Desert, an open-world RPG from the team behind Black Desert, will support DLSS 4 and full ray tracing at launch. It's one of those games where visual richness and performance need to strike a careful balance-and this tech could help achieve that.

Big Month Ahead: Firebreak, MindsEye, and More

June is shaping up to be a busy month for NVIDIA-powered titles. Firebreak, a new co-op shooter from Remedy, launches June 17 with full DLSS 4 support and advanced ray tracing features. MindsEye, a story-driven action game from Build A Rocket Boy, arrives June 10 with a full suite of DLSS features as well.

Other titles with confirmed DLSS 4 support include:

  • Dune: Awakening (Advanced access starts June 5)
  • Light of Motiram
  • Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (Coming July 24)
  • inZOI (update arriving in August)

Each of these games aims to push visual fidelity further without demanding unplayable frame rates.

Not Just Single-Player Games

Multiplayer and simulation titles are getting in on the action too. Splitgate 2 enters open beta on May 22 and will feature DLSS 4, Reflex, and other performance features. Naraka: Bladepoint, already popular on Steam, will get full ray tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction in an update later this month.

Simulator RoadCraft, out May 20, will receive an official DLSS 4 patch soon. Even more niche releases like Tang Legend: Silent Strings are experimenting with NVIDIA's AI storytelling tools, using them to generate unique in-game poetry after each mission.

Portal With RTX Gets Smarter, Literally

Portal with RTX now includes a major update featuring DLSS 4 and something called Neural Radiance Cache-a new technique that helps render indirect lighting using neural networks. It adapts in real-time based on your current play session, giving you better lighting and smoother frame rates, particularly on higher-end cards like the RTX 5090.

In performance terms, the update allows some GPUs to hit over 400 frames per second at lower resolutions, with big gains even at 4K.

Creative Apps Are Catching Up Too

DLSS 4 isn't just for gaming. Tools like Chaos Enscape and Autodesk VRED now include it, offering sharper real-time previews and faster rendering speeds for creators. For anyone working in 3D design or visualization, this means fewer trade-offs between quality and speed.
