GTA 6 Is Less Than A Month Away And We Are Already Talking About GTA 7
After years of waiting, GTA 6 is finally less than a month away, and gamers across the globe are excited about its launch. However, even before players get their hands on Rockstar Games' upcoming title, the conversation has already shifted to what comes next. And yes, I'm talking about GTA 7.

Now, before you get all excited, Rockstar Games hasn't yet confirmed GTA 7 or shared an official timeline. However, speculation about the next game has already started surfacing.
Rockstar's Next Game Should Take Less Time To Develop
GTA 6 marks Rockstar Games' first major release since Red Dead Redemption 2 arrived in 2018. The long wait has raised questions about whether future Rockstar games will follow a similar development cycle.
According to Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, Rockstar executives believe the work put into GTA 6 will help the studio develop future projects faster. Phil Hooker, one of the company's executives, said the engine, tools and team built during development would allow Rockstar to work more quickly in the future.
Hooker also suggested that the studio could build on its existing technology to create new experiences without having to rebuild everything from scratch. Rockstar's Aaron Garbut reportedly echoed this sentiment, saying the company had fundamentally changed many things during GTA 6's development but would not dismantle that work once the game was complete.
This could mean Rockstar's next project benefits from the technology and systems already in place, potentially reducing the time needed to develop it. However, this does not necessarily mean GTA 7 will be the studio's next game.
The gaming community is also actively discussing what could come next. Reddit, in particular, has become a place for fans to share their theories and predictions about the franchise's future.
In a recent Reddit discussion, fans began speculating about where the next game could take place. However, these discussions remain speculation, and Rockstar has yet to reveal any details about GTA 7's setting or development.
About GTA 6
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19. The game will initially be available on consoles, with Rockstar yet to announce a PC release date.
Recent reports have suggested that the PC version could arrive within the first three months of 2027. However, Rockstar has not confirmed this window, so PC players will have to wait for an official announcement.
