Hotel Barcelona Late Check-Out DLC Out Now; Steam Demo Goes Live: Check Price

Hotel Barcelona has received a new DLC called Late Check-Out, and it’s now available on PC via Steam. At the same time, the base game has also picked up a free demo, giving new players a way to try it before buying.

This expansion continues the main story rather than acting like side content. It builds directly on what the base game sets up and pushes things further.

Two New Stages Change The Flow

The Late Check-Out DLC adds two new story stages, and both take a different approach to level design.

Dusk Valley Golf Resort is wide and open. You can see more of what’s around you, but that also means enemies can track you easily. It pushes you to stay on the move.

The Former Grandall Estate does the opposite. It’s tight, enclosed, and more intense. Encounters happen up close, and there’s less room to recover if you make a mistake.

New Enemies And Boss Encounters

The DLC introduces 17 new enemy types. These are designed to disrupt how players approach combat and force quicker reactions.

There are also two new boss fights. These focus on timing, positioning, and adapting to the environment rather than just dealing damage.

Overall, it feels like content meant for players who already understand the base game and want something more challenging.

Expanded Story Content

Late Check-Out also adds new narrative sequences and cutscenes. It continues the story of U.S. Marshal Justine Bernstein and explores more of the game’s themes around identity and psychological conflict.

The tone stays consistent with the base game, but there’s more context this time around.

Demo Now Available

For those who haven’t played the game yet, a demo is now live on Steam. It includes improvements from the recent update, but doesn’t include the DLC content.

It’s a simple way to try the gameplay loop before committing to the full version.
