HP, Asus and Acer teams up to roll out 65-inch 4k display with Nvidia graphic
The 65-inch 4K display will feature Google Assitant and will be launched at CES
Game players now can rejoice as HP, Acer and Nvidia are teaming up to produce massive 65-inches 4K 120Hz HDR displays. These Big Format display will feature inbuilt Nvidia graphics support for premium gaming and video watching experience. The new displays are said to offer a free hand with low latency display issues for better gaming response on large screen format.
At the heart of BFGDs is the latest G-SYNC HDR technology that synchronizes the display's refresh rate to that of the game's refresh rate at every moment in the gameplay. This G-SYNC Variable Refresh Rate technology is said to deliver a highly responsive, smooth, tear-free, immersive gaming experience to users. G-SYNC HDR technology also supports video playback at native framerates, including popular 23.976, 24 and 25 FPS format
Additionally, the 4K HDR display features a full-array direct backlight, 1,000-nit peak luminance and DCI-P3 color gamut for the immersive visual experience.
G-SYNC adds ultra-low latency functionality to the big displays and will come handy while gaming directly on the PC, Android, another console or using NVIDIA GameStream technology from a desktop or laptop gaming PC.
The most interesting feature of the BFGD (BIG Format Display) is the integration of Android based SHIELD. The bundled SHIELD remote and game controller allow for easy navigation and access to all of the world's biggest streaming apps, including Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube and Hulu. The displays will also have support for Google Assistant.
The big displays will also features full-array direct backlight at 1000 nit peak luminance and DCI-P3 color range.
The partnership companies have not announced any other feature of specification at the moment and the pricing is still kept a mystery. However it is being reported that the BFGD will be available from summer 2018.
