Lenovo has just launched its first handheld gaming device, the Legion Go. This new device promises to deliver high-performance gaming without sacrificing portability. Here's a breakdown of the key features and specifications.
Performance
The Legion Go boasts the latest AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and AMD RDNA Graphics, ensuring smooth gameplay even for demanding titles. It runs on Windows 11 and comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM for fast multitasking and quick loading times. Storage options range from 512GB to 1TB SSD, with the ability to expand further using a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of additional storage.

Visuals and Controls
The Legion Go features an 8.8-inch IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 97% DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering vibrant visuals and smooth gameplay. The 10-point touchscreen allows for intuitive control, whether you're navigating menus or swiping through inventory.

Battery and Charging
The device packs a 49.2Wh battery for extended gaming sessions. It also supports Super Rapid Charge technology, which can boost the battery to 70% in just 30 minutes. Additionally, a power bypass mode allows you to game while plugged in without draining the battery, further extending your playtime.

Cooling System
Lenovo's Legion Coldfront Technology keeps the Legion Go cool and quiet. A 79-blade fan operates silently in Quiet Mode, while a Custom Mode provides maximum performance without overheating.
Customizable and Detachable Controllers
The Legion Go features detachable Legion TrueStrike controllers equipped with hall effect joysticks for precise control and reduced drift. The controllers offer a variety of buttons, including a D-pad, trackpad, mouse wheel, and programmable shoulder buttons, allowing for a personalized gaming experience. The right controller can be detached and secured magnetically for FPS mode gaming.
Legion Space: Your Gaming Command Center
The Legion Go comes with Legion Space, a software suite that simplifies game management. You can access all your games from different launchers, purchase titles directly from the Legion Game Store (including Xbox Game Pass Ultimate titles), and adjust settings like resolution and refresh rate on the fly.
