Microsoft increases the price of Xbox one X in India
The prices of Microsoft's gaming console might see an increase following the increase on custom duty from 10 percent to 20 percent.
Microsoft launched its gaming console Xbox One X in India back in 2017. The Xbox One X was priced at Rs 44,990. Now recent reports from Beebom suggest that the prices of Microsoft's gaming console might see an increase following the increase on custom duty from 10 percent to 20 percent. The Indian government's decision to increase customs duty was announced during the Union Budget 2018.

Following this Microsoft has decided to increase the price of Xbox one by Rs 3,500.
This news is like a bummer for the gaming enthusiasts as the gaming console was already selling at a higher price. Now the gaming enthusiasts will have to burn a bigger hole in their pockets if they want to play the Microsoft Xbox One X. Surprisingly there is no update regarding the price of Xbox One S.
This decision by Microsoft has left no choice for the users however a decrease in price of the gaming consoles would be much appreciated. That said let's have a look at what the gaming consoles offer in terms of hardware and software.

We all know that the Xbox is one of the most powerful gaming consoles available out there in the market. The Xbox One X comes with a high-end octa-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz speed. The CPU is supported by 6-teraflops Scorpio engine with a 1,172MHz GPU having 40 Radeon compute cores.

The console offers 1 TB (1,024 GB) of storage and 6.8GHz 12 GB GDDR5 RAM with 326 GB/s bandwidth. Xbox One X features a vapor chamber for liquid-cooling. Xbox One X comes with support from 4K-resolution games at 60 frames per second (FPS) and it also acts as a 4K UHD Blu-ray player.

Some of the other features of the Xbox include a built-in power supply, three USB 3.0 ports (one in the front and two in the back), port locations for easy swap, and an IR blaster. The company also provides an optional stand with which users can place the console either horizontally or vertically.
