NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Update Adds Dynamic Multi Frame Generation To Cyberpunk 2077 And More

NVIDIA has announced a fresh round of DLSS 4.5 updates for PC games, with Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Blade Zero and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 among the titles receiving new features. The updates bring improvements to frame generation, image quality and performance across supported GeForce RTX systems, while NVIDIA has also released a new GeForce Game Ready Driver with support for Microsoft's Advanced Shader Delivery technology.

As per NVIDIA, Cyberpunk 2077 will receive an update on October 22 that adds DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. The update will also upgrade the game's existing Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction and Super Resolution integrations to NVIDIA's second-generation AI models.

Meanwhile, Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on October 28 with DLSS 4.5 support, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction for its path-traced lighting and effects. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has already entered its early access phase, with its global launch scheduled for October 23.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Comes To More Games

NVIDIA says Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will support DLSS Super Resolution across its modes to improve image quality and performance. GeForce RTX 40 Series users will also be able to use DLSS Frame Generation, while RTX 50 Series users can enable DLSS Dynamic Multi Frame Generation with up to 6X frame multiplication. NVIDIA Reflex will be available across supported GeForce RTX systems to reduce PC latency.

The game follows a conflict on the Korean Peninsula, with players following a squad of South Korean soldiers and Captain Price as they navigate the escalating war. Campaign Early Access began on October 16, followed by DMZ Early Access on October 18. The global launch, including multiplayer, is scheduled for October 23.

NVIDIA has also confirmed DLSS 4.5 support for Phantom Blade Zero, which launches on October 28. The action game follows Soul, a swordsman framed for murdering his master who has just 66 days left to live. Players will investigate a conspiracy in the martial world while fighting to survive.

The game will feature DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, while DLSS Ray Reconstruction will help refine its PC-exclusive path-traced lighting and effects.

Cyberpunk 2077 Gets DLSS 4.5 Update On October 22

Cyberpunk 2077 is receiving a new update on October 22, bringing DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation to the game. NVIDIA says the update will also upgrade its existing DLSS Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction and Super Resolution implementations to its second-generation AI models.

The update is intended to improve performance and image quality for players using supported GeForce RTX hardware. NVIDIA also lists RTX Spark systems among the devices benefiting from its latest gaming updates.

NBA 2K27 Gets A New DLSS 5 AI Model

NVIDIA has also highlighted a recent update for NBA 2K27. The game introduced DLSS 5 last month, with the technology designed to improve details such as player textures, skin subsurface scattering, contact shadows and hair rendering.

According to NVIDIA, the game's Season 2 update introduced a new DLSS 5 AI model that increases frame rates by up to 1.4 times on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, RTX Spark laptops and GeForce NOW. The company also claims that the latest model is 10 times faster overall than the version demonstrated in March.

These performance figures are NVIDIA's claims and may vary depending on the hardware configuration and settings used.

Planet Zoo 2 And THE FINALS Get DLSS Updates

Planet Zoo 2 has also received an update adding DLSS 4.5 technologies, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution. NVIDIA says these features give players more performance headroom to enable ray-traced reflections, shadows and global illumination, improving the appearance of the game's zoos and animals.

Meanwhile, THE FINALS has received its PRIME TIME update, which NVIDIA describes as the game's biggest annual update. Players using supported GeForce RTX GPUs or RTX Spark systems can use RTX Global Illumination (RTXGI) to improve lighting through hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

The game already supports DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation and NVIDIA Reflex, with Multi Frame Generation added in a later update. NVIDIA says players can use the NVIDIA app to upgrade supported DLSS integrations to newer AI models and enable DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.

New NVIDIA Game Ready Driver Adds Advanced Shader Delivery Support

Alongside the game updates, NVIDIA has released a new GeForce Game Ready Driver that adds support for Microsoft's Advanced Shader Delivery technology in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Gears of War: E-Day.

The technology downloads precompiled shaders matched to a player's hardware and driver configuration. This is designed to reduce the time spent waiting on shader compilation screens before starting a game and help reduce stuttering during gameplay.

You can download the new driver through the NVIDIA app or from the company's official GeForce driver website.

Left 4 Dead RTX Remix Mod Gets A First Look

NVIDIA has also shared a first look at Left 4 Dead RTX, an in-development RTX Remix mod created by NoMercyStudios and published by NightSightProductions.

The project aims to update Valve's co-operative zombie shooter with improved lighting and visual effects. According to NVIDIA, the mod uses technologies including RTX Neural Radiance Cache, DLSS Ray Reconstruction and Multi Frame Generation.

The project remains in development, and NVIDIA has not announced a release date for the mod.
