NVIDIA GeForce Now Cloud Gaming Service Coming to India in November 2025: Here’s What to Expect

NVIDIA has announced that its GeForce Now cloud gaming service will be available in India by November 2025. This launch comes five years after the service was introduced in North America and Europe. The expansion to India is part of a larger global rollout, which includes a significant technical upgrade to the service.

In September, GeForce NOW will undergo an upgrade to the NVIDIA Blackwell RTX architecture. This enhancement promises "GeForce RTX 5080-class performance" for subscribers. The upgrade aims to enhance gaming experiences with higher resolutions and frame rates while maintaining current membership prices.

Technical Specifications and Features

The upgraded architecture boasts 62 teraflops of compute performance and a 48GB frame buffer. It also offers faster frame rates compared to previous servers. Technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation support streaming at up to 5K resolution at 120 fps, while NVIDIA Reflex can deliver streams at up to 360 fps for competitive gaming.

A new Cinematic Quality Streaming mode is being introduced, featuring 4:4:4 chroma sampling and AV1 encoding for enhanced visual fidelity. This upgrade is expected to improve compatibility across various devices, allowing premium members to stream at 90 fps on Steam Decks and 4K 120 fps on Lenovo Legion Go S handhelds.

New Install-to-Play Feature

GeForce NOW is also launching an "Install-to-Play" feature alongside the architectural upgrade. This feature allows members to install games directly in the cloud, expanding the game catalog to nearly 4,500 titles. Players can access more of their PC game collections through this feature.

Ultimate and Performance members will receive 100GB of single-session storage, with options for additional persistent storage available for a monthly fee. This ensures that installed games remain ready for play without needing re-installation.

Game Titles and Membership Pricing

NVIDIA has revealed several games optimized for the upgraded platform, including "ARC Raiders," "Borderlands 4," "Call of Duty: Black Ops 7," "Cinder City," "Dying Light: The Beast," "Hell Is Us," "The Outer Worlds 2," and "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2." Members can play these titles on the cloud from their release day.

The Ultimate membership remains priced at USD 19.99 (approximately Rs. 1,745) per month, with a yearly plan available for USD 199.99 (around Rs. 17,460). The Performance membership continues at USD 9.99 (about Rs. 870) monthly. Server space for the upgraded Ultimate membership will be limited, with Indian pricing expected upon launch in November.
