NVIDIA GeForce Now Cloud Gaming Service is Coming to India in Q1 2026
NVIDIA's GeForce Now is anticipated to launch in India by Q1 2026, following multiple delays. Although initially expected earlier, NVIDIA recently confirmed that its cloud gaming platform is now slated for early next year. Servers are under construction, and the GeForce Now India landing page is live, allowing potential users to express interest in advance of the official launch.
India's cloud gaming scene is gaining traction. Microsoft introduced Xbox Cloud Gaming in the country earlier this November. However, the service's appeal is limited due to the recent price increase, with Game Pass Ultimate priced at ₹1,639 ($18.25) monthly. This makes NVIDIA's GeForce Now an intriguing alternative.

GeForce Now's Unique Offering
GeForce Now distinguishes itself by enabling gamers to stream titles they already own. Given Steam's regional pricing in India, where games are often cheaper than elsewhere, this feature could make NVIDIA's service more attractive for Indian gamers. Many, like myself, have numerous games on Steam and Epic that remain unplayed.
GeForce Now offers different subscription tiers. The base tier includes ads, queues, and a one-hour session limit. The $9/month Performance tier provides access to RTX-powered hardware, 1440p gaming, and six-hour sessions. The Ultimate tier, priced at $19 monthly, offers RTX 5080-powered rigs for 4K 120FPS gaming, extending sessions up to eight hours.
Cost Considerations for GeForce Now in India
Pricing for GeForce Now in India remains uncertain. NVIDIA revamped its subscription model, with Performance and Ultimate tiers now capped at 100 hours monthly. Additional hours and day passes starting at $3.99 are available. It's unclear if NVIDIA will adopt competitive pricing in India, but it might align closely with U.S. rates. We'll find out early next year.
The long wait for GeForce Now in India is nearing its end. Although delays have been frustrating, the service's potential launch is promising.
