PlayStation Plus October 2026 Monthly Games Confirmed: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and More

Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October 2026, with three titles joining the service from October 6. The lineup includes F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, offering a mix of racing, multiplayer shooting and co op action.

PlayStation Plus members can add the games to their libraries until November 2, although availability and editions can vary by region. Indian subscribers should check the local PlayStation Store for the final listings.

PlayStation Plus October 2026 Games

F1 25

The biggest title in this month's lineup is F1 25, the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. The game is available for PS5 and includes several single player modes, including Career and My Team 2.0.

Players can build and manage their own Formula One team, while F1 World offers online multiplayer options. A new multiplayer mode also allows players to compete as a squad against AI controlled drivers.

Hunt: Showdown 1896

Hunt: Showdown 1896 brings a more competitive and tactical experience to PlayStation Plus. The multiplayer extraction shooter challenges players to hunt monsters, track bosses and escape with their bounty while competing against other players.

The game can be played solo or with up to two teammates. Players must balance combat, stealth and survival, as both AI enemies and rival hunters can threaten a successful extraction.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is the only game in October's lineup available on both PS5 and PS4. It features voxel style visuals and focuses on chaotic battles against giant enemies.

Players can create a four member squad by rescuing characters from across the Earth Defense Force universe. The game supports four player online co op and two player local split screen, making it the most accessible multiplayer option in this month's lineup.

September PlayStation Plus Games Leave Soon

Members have until October 5 to add September's Monthly Games to their libraries. The lineup includes Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes.

Sony is also offering additional benefits in October, including Spider Man: Brand New Day avatars through Sony Pictures Core and limited time HorrorFest packs for games such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Overwatch 2.

The October PlayStation Plus lineup will be available from October 6, giving subscribers three very different games to try across racing, competitive multiplayer and co op action.
