Pokemon Go Fest once again coming back this summer

Last year Pokemon Go Fest was organised in Chicago but, it seems that the fest didn't go smoothly exactly what we have expected. But that didn't stop the developer Niantic from giving a try once again. This could be a good news for Pokemon Go lovers. The studio has announced a summer tour for 2018.

This tour will feature three stops across Japan, Germany, and the US, which also includes a return visit in Chicago. According to Niantic, "each event will include unique ways for players around the world to create adventures of their own and complete challenges together."

According to the official website, the event will take place in Europe, starting in Dortmund, Germany. The event will start from next month at the Westfalenpark between June 30th and July 1st. The area will be settled with various cultural themes which will help lure in families and kids, it will also include a Japanese garden, a playground and more.

"Our biggest North American event is back with a brand-new look! Pokémon GO Fest returns to Chicago from July 14 to July 15. Pokémon GO Fest 2018: A Walk in the Park will offer a unique, immersive play experience unseen anywhere else that will create a daylong adventure for Trainers. The event will be held in the city's historic Lincoln Park, with a 1.8-mile walking course that, among the tree-lined greenery, will include exclusive activities for Trainers of all ages. Single-day passes go on sale on May 11 for $20," reads the official blog post.

After the Chicago event, finally, the things will wrap up in Yokosuka. However, there are not many details on the Japanese event yet. Niantic says it will take place "later in the summer."

"After getting off to a bumpy start in Chicago last year, we hosted a number of record-setting events in Japan, Korea, and cities across Europe with attendance that ranged from tens of thousands to more than 2 million," The Verge quoted Niantic CEO John Hanke as saying. "We are excited to be returning to Chicago for our US event."
