If you are a gaming enthusiast, we have some good news for you. Microsoft's Xbox One X: Project Scorpio edition is now open for pre-order at $499 (approximately Rs. 32,000).
The console will go on sale from November 7 onwards. Since the Project Scorpio edition is limited, it has already gone out of stock on the Amazon US store. So what makes the Xbox One X's Project Scorpio edition so special? Well, to start with, the console sports a gradient design with the Project Scorpio code name written on it and the controller. The retail box pack has a giant X written on it.
Other than that, there are not many visible changes. As far as the hardware is concerned, the Project Scorpio edition is the same as a regular edition of Xbox One X. To recall, the Xbox One X is powered by an Octa-core AMD CPU running at 2.3 GHz along with a GPU that's rated at 6 TFLOPS, 12 GB of GDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB HDD.
The console is claimed to be capable of rendering games at 4K and 60fps. In addition, it comes with a vertical stand as well.
If you are interested to purchase one, you can pre-order the Xbox One X: Project Scorpio edition from the following stores; Amazon (US), Amazon (UK), Best Buy, Gamestop, Target, Walmart to name a few.
There are already several variants of gaming consoles being offered by different manufacturers around the world. Although the major players in the space are just Microsoft's Xbox and Sony's PlayStation, most think that they don't get enough options design-wise.
Probably, owing to this demand of special edition variants of the consoles, the duo has been launching quite a lot of different variants of the same console, but these are a mere cosmetic change and not an upgrade in the hardware and software part.
