PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for June 2026 Announced: Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and More
PlayStation has announced its June PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup, and it's a busy month for RPG fans, action game players, and anyone looking to revisit a few familiar franchises.
The biggest addition is Final Fantasy XVI, which joins the service globally on June 16. Subscribers will also get access to Sonic X Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Farming Simulator 25, and several other titles over the course of the month.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, June also brings back the PlayStation 2 rhythm game Gitaroo Man.
Final Fantasy XVI Arrives June 16
Leading this month's catalog update is Final Fantasy XVI for PS5.

The latest mainline entry in Square Enix's long-running RPG series takes a darker approach than previous games, following Clive Rosfield as he navigates political conflict, revenge, and war across the world of Valisthea. The game also marked a major shift for the franchise by embracing real-time action combat instead of the traditional turn-based systems many players associate with Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy XVI will be available worldwide on June 16.
Sonic X Shadow Generations Brings Two Adventures in One Package
Sonic X Shadow Generations joins the catalog earlier than most of the lineup.

The release combines a brand-new Shadow-focused campaign with a remastered version of Sonic Generations. Players can explore Shadow's backstory as he faces returning enemies and revisits key moments from his past, while the Sonic Generations portion includes updated versions of classic 2D and 3D stages.
The game became available on June 10 in the US and UK, and June 11 in Japan.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance Gets a PS5 Upgrade
Players looking for a more grounded RPG experience can jump into Kingdom Come: Deliverance later this month.

Set in medieval Bohemia, the game follows Henry, a blacksmith's son whose life is turned upside down after a devastating attack on his village. The PS5 version includes visual improvements such as 4K resolution support, higher-resolution textures, and performance enhancements.
The game arrives on June 23 in the US, UK, and Japan.
Life Is Strange Returns With Max Caulfield
Life is Strange: Double Exposure continues the story of Max Caulfield, the protagonist from the original game.

This time, Max becomes caught between parallel realities after discovering her friend Safi dead. In trying to prevent the tragedy, she gains access to an alternate timeline where Safi is still alive, creating a mystery that unfolds across two versions of reality.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure joins the service on June 23 in the US, UK, and Japan.
More Games Coming Later This Month
Several additional titles will arrive before the end of June.
Farming Simulator 25 brings new crops, animals, locations, and machinery, while continuing the series' focus on farm management and cooperative play.
Blades of Fire introduces a combat system built around crafting and forging weapons, with players taking control of Aran de Lira, a warrior navigating a world where metal has turned to stone.

Meanwhile, Black Desert expands the month's RPG offering with its open-world MMORPG experience, featuring combat, exploration, guild activities, and life-skill systems.
All three games are scheduled to join the catalog on June 30 in the US, UK, and Japan.
Gitaroo Man Returns for PlayStation Plus Premium
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will receive one additional classic title this month.

Gitaroo Man, originally released for the PlayStation 2, makes its debut on PS5 and PS4. The rhythm game follows protagonist U-1 as he uses the legendary Gitaroo to battle enemies through music-based gameplay.
The title will be available globally on June 16.
