If you're playing PUBG on consoles like PS4 and Xbox One then this is going be good news for you. The PUBG Corps is all set to release the latest 5.1 updates for the console players which will bring new changes to the gameplay, revamped Miramar map, improved loots, and a lot more.
The update will also arrive with new Season 5 which was recently released for the PC version. The 5.1 update also introduces the new Badlands Survivor Pass, and allow players to throw items on teammates. Here are the details:
"Update 5.1 is here for Xbox and PS4 and we're kicking off Season 5 with a refresh of our desert map, Miramar! With new content like a scoped Win94, map updates, and the new Vending Machines for dispersing support items, plus loot spawn improvements for DMRs and rifles to suit long-range engagements, Miramar has never looked better," reads the PUBG website.
The update is already live on the test servers and developers will take down the game from public servers on October 29 for maintenance. According to the PUBG 5.1 update patch note, the player will get to see new objects in the game like ramps, loops, and jumps across Miramar map. The update also comes with Gold Mirado vehicle, improved loots, a new race track, and signboards across Miramar.
Do note that only one Gold Mirado spawns will be available in each match. The update also removed some small objects and trash in and around buildings to reduce clutter. You can get the vending machines in the following locations:
- Arenas
- Casino

Besides, players will also get the Miramar-exclusive Win96 rifle which comes with a non-removable 2.7x scope. You can also use all melee weapons as a throwable tool to knock down the enemies.
