Resident Evil 4 Remake for iPhone, iPad, and macOS Launches December 20

Capcom's official Resident Evil franchise account recently disclosed on the social platform X that Resident Evil 4 Remake is scheduled for release on iPhone, iPad, and Mac on December 20. However, there's a condition: the game will only be compatible with eligible devices powered by Apple's most robust chips.

To provide a taste of the survival horror experience, Capcom will offer a free demo alongside the game's launch. According to the official post, gamers can "Infiltrate the village, save baby Eagle!" The demo will allow players to glimpse Leon's intense mission, and pre-orders are already available on the App Store.

Universal Purchase

The full game will be available for $59.99, which includes the Separate Way DLC pack. Notably, this pricing exceeds the $39.99 price tag that accompanied the launch of Resident Evil Village on Apple devices.

However, Capcom has introduced Universal Purchase support for Resident Evil 4. This means purchasing the game on one Apple device will grant access to it on any other supported Apple device, providing players with flexibility and convenience.

Enhanced Gaming Experience

One of the most appealing aspects of Resident Evil 4 on the iPhone is its fully customizable on-screen touch controls. However, the game goes further to cater to console gaming enthusiasts. It will support PlayStation and Xbox wireless controllers, offering a more intuitive gaming experience.

Expanding Horizons

Apple's dedication to bringing AAA titles to the iPhone 15 Pro lineup extends beyond the Resident Evil series. The event also highlighted upcoming titles like Death Stranding Director's Cut and Assassin's Creed Mirage as compatible console games set to debut on the new iPhone models.

Expanding the World of Mobile Gaming

As the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake on Apple devices approaches, it is evident that Apple is dedicated to offering high-quality gaming experiences to its user base. With its powerful hardware and commitment to enhancing the gaming experience, the iPhone is increasingly becoming a noteworthy platform for casual and hardcore gamers.

The future of mobile gaming on Apple devices looks promising, and Resident Evil 4 Remake is just one example of the exciting developments in the pipeline.
