CES 2026: ASUS ROG Updates Zephyrus Laptops, Brings Kojima-Designed Flow Z13, Debuts New AR Glasses, and More
CES 2026 is officially underway, and ASUS’s Republic of Gamers brand is using the show to reflect on where it’s been and where it’s heading next. At its Dare to Innovate virtual event, ROG marked 20 years in gaming with a spread of new laptops, desktops, displays, and peripherals rather than a single headline product.

Zephyrus laptops add more AI headroom
The latest Zephyrus G14 and G16 updates stick to the same formula as before: thin gaming laptops that still aim to deliver high-end performance. Both models now use next-generation Intel Core Ultra processors, with some configurations also offering AMD Ryzen AI chips. The addition of NPUs brings local AI acceleration into the mix for tasks that go beyond gaming.
On the graphics side, the G14 can be configured with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, while the larger G16 goes up to an RTX 5090. ROG has also nudged power limits higher this year, allowing more sustained performance when thermals permit. Display upgrades include brighter Nebula HDR panels with full DCI-P3 coverage.

The Zephyrus Duo keeps its dual-screen approach
ROG isn’t backing away from the dual-screen idea. The new Zephyrus Duo continues with two high-resolution OLED touch displays, both running at high refresh rates. It’s powered by the same class of processors and GPUs found in ROG’s top-tier laptops, including options with NVIDIA’s latest mobile graphics.
It remains a niche machine, but one that clearly targets users who rely on multitasking, whether that’s streaming, editing, or juggling multiple apps at once.
A Kojima Productions collaboration takes a different turn
One of the more unusual reveals is ROG’s collaboration with Kojima Productions. The partnership centers on a special-edition Flow Z13, a detachable 2-in-1 that blends tablet-style portability with gaming-grade internals.
It runs on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max platform with integrated Radeon graphics and features a high-refresh HDR touchscreen. The bigger focus, though, is on design and presentation, with visual elements inspired by Kojima Productions’ Ludens mascot and matching peripherals released alongside it.
A desktop that leans into visual flair
ROG also showed off the G1000 gaming desktop, which pairs high-end components with a strong visual identity. Its standout feature is a holographic fan system built into the case, designed to add a bit of personality without interfering with cooling.
Beyond that, it’s a straightforward high-end desktop, with options for NVIDIA’s latest GPUs, large memory capacities, and liquid cooling.
OLED displays, AR glasses, and audio round out the lineup
The CES showing also included new OLED gaming monitors under the Swift OLED lineup, focusing on higher refresh rates and faster response times. ROG is clearly continuing its push toward OLED as a core display technology for competitive gaming.
Outside traditional monitors, ROG is also stepping into AR gaming glasses, built to act as portable high-refresh displays for PCs, consoles, and handhelds. New audio products, including a planar magnetic headset and open-ear wireless earbuds, round out the announcements.
