Sony Could Bring Ghost of Yotei-Themed PS5 Controllers and Consoles to India This Festive Season
Sony’s tradition of releasing limited-edition hardware alongside big PlayStation titles may extend to India again. With Ghost of Yotei set to release on October 2, reports suggest that themed DualSense controllers and possibly even PS5 console bundles will be coming to the Indian market.

Preorders Around the Corner
According to a report from High Chaos Run, global preorders for the Ghost of Yotei accessories are expected to begin on September 4. While it’s unclear whether consoles, controllers, and faceplates will all be available on the same day, the timing matches Sony’s past pattern with titles like Death Stranding 2.
Notably, IGN also reported that India could be among the regions to receive the themed accessories, which would put the country on par with other major markets.

Expected Pricing in India
The Ghost of Yotei DualSense controllers are tipped to launch at around ₹7,490, similar to other limited-edition models released here, such as the Death Stranding 2 controller. The themed PS5 bundle, which includes a matching controller, could be priced near ₹55,000, aligning with Sony’s recent Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 package.

What Makes These Designs Unique
The controllers come in black and gold variants with designs inspired by the game’s Japanese setting. The gold version draws from the art of kintsugi, which highlights imperfections using gold to repair cracked ceramics. Other motifs reference Atsu’s Ghost mask and the hand-drawn icons from her map. Both the controllers and console carry a special PlayStation maker’s seal.

India’s Growing Role in Sony’s Plans
If the reports hold true, Indian gamers may soon have access to these limited-edition accessories, marking another sign that Sony is treating the market more in step with its global rollouts. While the console bundle’s availability is still uncertain, the DualSense controllers look set to be the highlight for fans here.
Beyond the Launch
Sony and Sucker Punch Productions have also teased Ghost of Yotei Legends, a DLC expansion planned for 2026. But for now, the bigger story is whether Indian players will see the themed controllers and possibly the PS5 bundle go on sale alongside the global release.
