Suicide Squad Game Launch Marred by Server Issues
Rocksteady Studios' entrance into the gaming market with "Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League" faced serious technical difficulties, far from the triumphant debut that fans were expecting.
Slated for a February 2 release, the game promised Deluxe Edition purchasers a head start with 72 hours of early access. Yet, a critical bug led to a sudden and disappointing server shutdown, occurring a mere hour after the game was made available.

Early Access Marred by Major Bug
The early access rollout for Suicide Squad began in New Zealand, with some eager gamers exploiting regional tricks to jump the queue. However, their excitement was short-lived.
An hour into their gameplay, a pop-up message informed players that the servers had gone offline. The official Suicide Squad Twitter account relayed the unfortunate news, citing a bug that erroneously marked the story mode as complete upon the first login.
Indefinite Server Downtime and Studio Response
The bug's impact was significant enough to warrant the servers being taken down for an indefinite period. Rocksteady Studios announced necessary maintenance to rectify the issue, a process they warned could take several hours.
Later updates from the studio indicated that the problem had been pinpointed and a fix was being tested, with hopes to get the game back online promptly.
Player Frustration and Refund Concerns
This unexpected server outage has undoubtedly been a source of frustration for players, particularly those who paid a premium for early access. With a significant chunk of the 72-hour early launch window already lost, players have not been able to enjoy the game they eagerly anticipated.
In light of these events, there have been calls for refunds from the affected buyers, though Rocksteady Studios has not yet provided a clear response on how they will handle such requests. Despite the uncertainty, rest assured that any updates regarding the game's server status and the refund situation will be closely monitored and reported.
