SuperGaming Unveils Indus Battle Royale: Release Date, Trailer, and Gameplay Mechanics
Indus Battle Royale, an eagerly anticipated Indian battle royale game, has finally announced its launch date as October 16, 2024, for both iOS and Android platforms.
This announcement was accompanied by a nearly four-minute-long trailer, showcasing the game's features and giving fans a glimpse of what to expect. Developed SuperGaming, a Pune-based studio, Indus Battle Royale has been on the radar of mobile gaming enthusiasts since its initial reveal in January 2022.

Indus Battle Royale Pre-registrations on Android
Over the months, the game has not only shared numerous trailers but also launched an open beta in August this year, and even hosted esports tournaments prior to its official release. To date, the game has secured a staggering 12.5 million pre-registrations on Android.
Indus Battle Royale introduces a fresh mechanic to the popular battle royale genre, known as the Grudge System. This innovative feature allows players to seek revenge by declaring a "Grudge" against anyone who eliminates them, ensuring the two players are matched in future games.
This unique system provides a thrilling opportunity for players to retaliate against their opponents. Alongside the traditional battle royale mode, the game also offers a 4v4 deathmatch, adding variety to the gameplay experience. The narrative of Indus revolves around Cosmium, a mysterious and potent substance that holds the power to control the world.
Game's Vision
"With the launch of Indus, we're not just introducing a game - we're presenting a unique take on the battle royale genre to the world," stated Roby John, co-founder and CEO of SuperGaming. He further elaborated on the game's vision, emphasizing its aim to showcase Indian art, culture, and heritage through distinct characters, weapons, and narratives.
The addition of the dual win condition involving Cosmium and the novel 'Grudge' feature are expected to bring a fresh perspective to the popular game genre. John highlighted the significant role of community support during the beta phase in refining key elements of Indus, expressing excitement for the global audience to experience what the SuperGaming team has developed.
In addition to its release on mobile platforms, there are plans to launch Indus Battle Royale on PC and consoles, broadening its accessibility to a wider audience. This move signifies the developer's ambition to establish a strong presence in the global gaming market, transcending the traditional boundaries of mobile gaming.
