Ubisoft Unveils Valley Of Memory Update For Assassin's Creed Mirage With New Features And Storyline
Ubisoft has unveiled the Valley of Memory, a free update for Assassin's Creed Mirage. This expansion introduces a fresh story chapter, a new location, and additional features. It is set to release on November 18 for both PC and consoles. The DLC celebrates two years since Assassin's Creed Mirage debuted in October 2023. Set in the 9th-century Arabian oasis city of AlUla, this update promises an engaging experience.
The Valley of Memory was officially announced during a livestream event on Monday. Ubisoft had previously confirmed the DLC's title over the weekend. Development involved Ubisoft teams from Bordeaux and Paris, with support from Ubisoft Bucarest, Ubisoft Da Nang, and Ubisoft Montpellier.

Valley of Memory New Features
Players can expect up to six hours of additional content with this free expansion for those who own Assassin's Creed Mirage. The storyline unfolds before the main game's conclusion. Basim embarks on a quest upon hearing that his long-lost father might be alive in AlUla. As he investigates, he finds the valley threatened by robbers and his father's whereabouts unknown.
The DLC offers an exploration of 9th-century AlUla, nestled in the Arabian desert. Players will explore locations such as the old town, Hegra tombs, Musa Ibn Musayr fortress, and the Valley of the Stones. Additionally, several gameplay enhancements accompany this expansion.
Following this update, all black box missions and contracts within Assassin's Creed Mirage and its DLC will become replayable after initial completion. These can be accessed through the Animus Sequences section on the objective board or directly within the game world.
Enhanced Gameplay Experience
The expansion introduces another parkour update to enhance gameplay further. Players can now toggle a manual jump ability for improved control. A new control scheme aims to offer a better parkour experience overall. Side and back ejects added in previous updates will also be customisable.
Additional features include new skill and tool customisation options alongside two new difficulty levels. These enhancements aim to enrich player engagement and offer varied challenges. The Valley of Memory update will be available on November 18 across multiple platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
