Gamers now know what to expect on the Microsoft Xbox Series X|S consoles, Xbox Game Pass, and PC for the rest of the year and beyond. At the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 Microsoft announced several games and published trailers.

Right on the heels of the recently concluded Summer Game Fest 2023, Microsoft held the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 and offered a long look at Starfield, Bethesda's long-awaited sci-fi RPG. Let's look at the top five games that will arrive on the Xbox consoles, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.

Starfield Trailer And Direct About Sci-Fi RPG

Microsoft focused heavily on its upcoming sci-fi RPG, Starfield. The company offered an extended but still insufficient look at Starfield all throughout its showcase and Starfield Direct.

Needless to mention, the upcoming Bethesda title is one of its most ambitious RPG titles to date. It promises to offer over 1,000 planets players can explore, comprehensive base building, robust skill trees, dialogue options, stories, and character customization.

During the Starfield Direct, Todd Howard, director, and executive producer at Bethesda emphasized the game grants players unprecedented freedom to explore and combat in a variety of ways. Starfield should launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 6, 2023.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

Capcom revealed Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a new title. The game asks players to take down massive supernatural creatures and various "Yokai" as they explore feudal Japan.

The title may appear similar to another Capcom title, Onimusha, Kunitsu-Gami is not related to the action-adventure series. It is not immediately clear, but the game may feature multiplayer elements. Microsoft Xbox hasn't announced a release window for the game.

Forza Motorsport Launch Date Confirmed

Microsoft has officially confirmed Forza Motorsport will launch on October 10, 2023. The game is a follow-up to 2017's Forza Motorsport 7 and promises improved gameplay, realistic racing conditions, and more cars from car makers.

In addition to confirming the launch date, Microsoft even released a trailer for Forza Motorsport, which will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

inXile's Clockwork Revolution Revealed

Microsoft concluded the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 event with a teaser for Clockwork Revolution, a new game from inXile. There's no fixed release date, but Microsoft claimed Game Pass subscribers would get priority access.

The "pre-alpha sneak peek" of a new RPG indicated it has a distinct steampunk dystopian look. The teaser was just enough to hint there could be elements of time manipulation or "time-bending".

Xbox Series S With 1TB Internal Storage Confirmed

In addition to game trailers, sneak peeks, and teasers, Microsoft Xbox head Phil Spencer revealed the new 1TB Xbox Series S. The console will be available in black, and gamers will be able to purchase it from September 1, 2023.

The Xbox Series S with 512GB carries a sticker price of $299. The 1TB Xbox Series S will retail for $349, which is just $50 more than the model with 512GB.
