Xbox one X and S soon to support 1440p resolution
With the new update the Xbox One X will be able to render games at 1440p which is opposite from the current resolution which renders at 1080p on 2K panels.
The Microsoft gaming console Xbox One and S are reportedly going to support 1440p display soon in the near future. As per reports from Beebom a tweet by a member of the Xbox engineering team cleared this report. The Xbox One X will feature 1440p displayes.
The tweet further clear that the members of the Xbox insider program should get an update sometime soon which should come along with support for 2K resolution. With the new update the Xbox One X will be able to render games at 1440p which is opposite from the current resolution which renders at 1080p on 2K panels.
Further the interested used can also register for the Xbox Insider program. A user needs to download the Insider Hub app on their consoles and after following the instructions from the screen. The Xbox one X is currently one of the most powerful gaming console and it comes along with a high-end octa-core CPU which is clocked at 2.3GHz speed. The CPU is supported by 6-teraflops Scorpio engine with a 1,172MHz GPU having 40 Radeon compute cores. The console offers 1 TB (1,024 GB) of storage and 6.8GHz 12 GB GDDR5 RAM with 326 GB/s bandwidth.
Xbox One X also features a vapor chamber for liquid-cooling. Xbox One X comes with support from 4K-resolution games at 60 frames per second (FPS) and it also acts as a 4K UHD Blu-ray player.
Some of the other features include a built-in power supply, three USB 3.0 ports (one in the front and two in the back), port locations for easy swap, and an IR blaster. The company also provides an optional stand with which users can place the console either horizontally or vertically. The interesting thing about this console according to the company is that the device will support all the existing Xbox One games, Xbox Play Anywhere titles, and even 2nd-generation-old Xbox 360 games and accessories. The company has claimed that these games will load faster and look better on Xbox One X.
