PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for January 2026: Need for Speed Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, More
PlayStation is kicking off 2026 with a PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup that feels thoughtfully mixed rather than flashy for the sake of it. January’s selection covers three very different styles of games, so there’s something here whether you want fast-paced racing, a slower story-driven experience, or a game you can quietly sink hours into.

All three titles will be available to PlayStation Plus members from January 6 to February 2.
Need for Speed Unbound (PS5)

Need for Speed Unbound is the most familiar name in this month’s lineup, and it plays exactly the role you’d expect. It’s built around street racing, building up your garage, and constantly staying one step ahead of the cops.
One thing Unbound does well is keeping single-player and multiplayer progression separate. You can stick to solo races without feeling like you’re missing out, or jump online if that’s more your thing. The art style is bold and stylized, which might divide opinions, but the driving itself feels sharp and responsive. It’s the kind of game that works just as well in quick sessions as it does during a long weekend binge.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (PS4, PS5)

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed slows things down and leans into creativity. This remake brings back the original concept with updated visuals, while keeping the core idea intact. You play as Mickey Mouse in Wasteland, a strange world filled with forgotten characters and half-lost stories.
The main mechanic revolves around choice. You can use paint to restore the environment or thinner to erase parts of it, and those decisions shape how the world changes around you. It’s not a fast or flashy game, but it’s thoughtful, a little quirky, and very different from the usual action-heavy PlayStation Plus offerings.
Core Keeper (PS4, PS5)

Core Keeper rounds out the month with a sandbox adventure that’s easy to underestimate at first glance. You start out in an underground cavern with very little direction, and that’s kind of the point.
You can explore alone or with friends, dig through different biomes, craft tools, build a base, farm, fish, and slowly uncover bigger challenges hidden deeper underground. It’s relaxed when you want it to be and more demanding when you decide to push further. If you enjoy games that let you set your own pace, this one can quietly eat up a lot of time.
Don’t Miss December’s Games
Before January’s lineup goes live, PlayStation Plus members still have until January 5 to add December’s games to their library. Once claimed, they stay playable as long as your subscription is active, so it’s worth grabbing them even if you don’t plan to play right away.
