Sony At E3 2014 Roundup: The Order, Entwind, Uncharted 4, PlayStation TV, LittleBigPlanet 3 And More

For four days each year, the biggest titans in the industry - be it Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft or Nintendo; assemble at one place to write the future of gaming. However, the E3 2014 is a bit different from yesteryear.

Let's talk about Sony's E3 2014 press briefing in a more comprehensive manner. Quite naturally, Sony is on cloud nine with the kind of response the PlayStation 4 is getting these days. The success of PlayStation 4 has made Sony the undisputed king in the gaming world. Now with more than 7 million gamers with access to the PlayStation 4, a console without decent titles is like a skeleton without bones. And thankfully, Sony is not taking chances with the PlayStation 4.

Sony kicked off the E3 press conference by confirming its interest in promoting independent developers, while also highlighting some big-ticket games for the PlayStation 4. At the E3 press conference, Sony announced that the PlayStation T.V will be available in Europe and across the PAL region for €99. Originally released in Japan last year as PlayStation T.V, the micro-console is similar to Sony's handheld console, the PS Vita, but without the screen. PS TV supports PS4 remote play and Wireless Controller (DUALSHOCK 3 or DUALSHOCK 4), which means PS4 owners can wirelessly stream games on a PS TV system in their bedroom. Furthermore, PS TV users will be able to comfortably enjoy PlayStation 3 games via streaming. PS TV offers a huge library of PS Vita, PSP and classic PS One titles. The console will also be made available in the US and Canada this fall.


New Uncharted 4 To Storm PS4

Sony also revealed that Uncharted 4 will be coming to the PlayStation 4 in 2015. It will be subtitled A Thief's End, possibly indicating that this title will be the last in the series. Are you excited? Have a look at the trailor over here.

LittleBigPlanet 3

UK-based studio Media Molecule's surprised audience with a demonstration of LittleBigPlanet 3, the first console game in the series since 2011. It will hit PlayStation 3 by next year. You can watch the trailer over here.

At E3, Andrew House, president and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, announced that the Destiny bundle is exclusive to Sony. Destiny, Halo developer Bungie's next game, will be available in a $449 (about Rs. 26,940) bundle with the first-ever white PlayStation 4. The bundle will be available on the game's September 9 release date and include a Glacier White 500 GB console, a matching vertical stand, an Urban Camouflage DualShock 4 controller, Destiny and a 30-day voucher to PlayStation Plus. The special bundle is also heading to Europe.

Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4 also made an appearance during Sony's conference in the form of an extended gameplay demo, showing off the game in a best possible manner, check out thetrailer.

The Order: 1886

Sony also showed off a new gameplay segment and revealed the trailer for The Order: 1886. As confirmed by the company, it would be released in February 20, 2015. The gameplay demo showed our hero, Galahad, fighting off a giant enemy in The Order's cinematic style. The game looks as stunning as ever. You can see the trailer over here.

Shawn Layden the president and CEO of SCE America, Sony also announced that YouTube will be making its way to the PlayStation 4, where users will be able to play all of YouTube including music videos, gaming videos, live streams and more.

YouTube will officially be one of the social options offered when you press the SHARE button on your DualShock 4. After pressing SHARE, you'll see the YouTube icon pop up alongside Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and Ustream, and in just a couple of quick steps, you can go from playing your favorite games to publishing videos on your own YouTube channel.

Some of the impressive lineup of upcoming F2P titles will be available for free for example Big Fest, Guns up, fat Princess: Piece of cake and third party games including Kingdom under fire 2, Reaper and more.

Many other titles were announced in the conference including Bloodborne, No Man's Sky, Dead Island 2, Entwined was announced, The Last of Us Remastered, Ratchet & Clank, Battlefield Hardline, Tetris Ultimate, Devolver Digital and more
