Preview : Tomb Raider (2013)
Few games like Tomb Raider have the potential to carry forward, the story of female protagonist, so brilliantly. Well, it's a survivor game, this time Lara Croft has been reintroduced to the audiences.
For that matter, the new Tomb Raider game acts as a mirror; add last few games from the same franchise. Still, the new addition brings epic mastery: a never seen visuals, performed with utmost perfection. She is the hero; she is the survivor and winner too. Mission accomplished!
Lara Croft, the lead character, is a young woman whose ship had to face uphill battle to get out of storm. Her crew and close friends accompanied by her at ship were separated in that stormy night. On the directions of Lara Croft they choose stormy islands which were fall in the area of Dragon's Triangle. They say many ships have been destroyed in that particular region. Later, she was separated and found in an unconscious position like a lost cow in some island.
From here the actual hunt of Lara Croft starts. Now she is ready to find questions, significant ones, and solve the mystery with her guts. The game revisits: a fantasy like to environment and gives larger picture on ground. The story is somehow known from the beginning of the game. The highlight of the game is the rock solid graphics, narration and of course - Lara Croft herself.
Another highlight of the Tomb Raider game is the so -called island. The very place was used to be known as Yamatai, somewhere in the Japan's periphery. It's an unpredictable place - expect lots of twists and turns while playing the actual game. Lara has to fight at every nook and corner, challenging many situations. The game play is simple and demands lot of sincerity from the gamers. No one would like to play as a multiplayer mode; single player mode is still the best suited to play this game.
Tomb Raider is an excellent game, but its story sounds so predictable. Although, the game has potential to be one among the brightest gem launched in the 2013.
"She is the hero; she is the survivor and winner too."
