At the What Hi Fi Show 2024 in Mumbai, BenQ unveiled its latest addition to the home theatre market, the W5800 projector. This large projector boasts a potential screen size of up to 200 inches, making it an ideal choice for those seeking an immersive cinema experience right in their living rooms.

The W5800 projector price in India is set at Rs 6,50,000. The BenQ W5800 projector is going to be available at select Home AV System Integrators across India.

The W5800 is equipped with advanced tone mapping, 100 percent DCI-P3 color space, and a 1.6x motorized zoom, ensuring sharp, vibrant images. Its laser array light source can produce up to 2600 lumens of brightness. Furthermore, it supports HDR10+ high dynamic range content with HDR-Pro tone mapping for optimal viewing quality.

For audio, the projector includes HDMI ARC and eARC support, facilitating easy integration with a comprehensive home cinema system. Color accuracy is another highlight, with each unit shipping with a factory calibration report, guaranteeing true-to-life colors straight out of the box.

BenQ has designed the W5800 with a focus on quiet operation, boasting a cooling system that runs at approximately 30dB.
