Blaupunkt Debuts New QLED Google TVs in India With Built-In 70W Speakers: Check Price, Specs, Availability

Blaupunkt, the German-origin consumer electronics brand, has announced a new range of QLED Google TVs for the Indian market, available in screen sizes from 32 to 65 inches.

The series promises high-end picture quality, built-in Dolby sound, and seamless Google integration—without the need for an external soundbar. Bookings begin June 13, 2025, exclusively on Flipkart.

From Compact to Cinema-Sized

The new Blaupunkt QLED TV lineup includes five display sizes: 32”, 40”, 50”, 55”, and 65”. The entry-level models cater to budget-conscious buyers, while the larger screens aim to offer a premium cinematic experience.

While the 32” model comes with HD Ready resolution, the 40” version steps up to Full HD. Both models are housed in a slim, bezel-less chassis and run Android TV OS with Google Assistant, Chromecast, and access to OTT apps like Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar. With 48W of Dolby Digital Plus-enabled audio, they also punch above their weight in the sound department.

For those eyeing something bigger, the 50”, 55”, and 65” QLED 4K variants offer HDR10, Wide Colour Gamut support, and up to 1.1 billion colors. These models also feature a bezel-less metallic design, Dolby Atmos certification, and six different audio-visual modes, making them suitable for everything from late-night binge sessions to weekend sports viewing.

Built-In Soundbar-Like Output

One of the most notable features of the new Blaupunkt QLED TVs is the built-in speaker setup. The 55” and 65” models house four speakers producing 70W of output—powerful enough to remove the need for a separate soundbar. Even the 50” variant includes dual speakers with 50W output.

In an era where consumers often buy external sound systems to complement lackluster TV audio, Blaupunkt is aiming to eliminate that step. According to Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of Super Plantronics Pvt. Ltd. (Blaupunkt’s India licensee), the goal was to address this very pain point: “With Blaupunkt, you don’t need an external sound system.”

All models run Android TV OS, giving users access to Google Play Store apps, voice search via Google Assistant, and casting through Chromecast. The premium models are powered by an AI PQ chipset and ARM Cortex A55 quad-core processors, while the compact ones use Realtek processors for smooth performance. Dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB, and Bluetooth support make it easy to hook up multiple devices, whether it’s a gaming console or a set-top box.
