BoAt CineHead M1 and CineHead E1 Smart Projectors Launched in India: Check Pricing, Specifications, Features

boAt has added two new portable projectors to its home entertainment line-up in India, called CineHead M1 and CineHead E1. Both are smart projectors with Android-based interfaces, support screens up to 150 inches, and are aimed at users who want OTT streaming, wireless casting, and compact designs at relatively affordable prices.

The CineHead M1 and CineHead E1 share several core functions. Each unit includes an Android smart UI with preloaded OTT apps, wireless screen mirroring for phones, tablets, and laptops, plus dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Both projectors offer lamp life of up to 30,000 hours and include HDMI, USB, and AUX ports for connecting external devices.

The CineHead M1 is the higher-resolution option, offering native Full HD 1080p output and brightness rated at 200 ANSI lumens. It is designed for projections up to 150 inches and uses Android 12-based software. The projector supports auto focus and auto keystone correction, and also includes an adjustable rotatable stand with a built-in carry handle for easier placement.

The CineHead E1 targets buyers who can manage with HD visuals. It delivers native 720p resolution but can play 1080p content, and brightness is rated at 150 ANSI lumens. Like the M1, it supports projections up to 150 inches. The E1 runs on Android 13-based smart UI, uses electronic focus with vertical keystone correction, and has a light, rotatable stand design.

Audio hardware differs between the two CineHead models. The CineHead M1 carries a 6W setup using dual 3W speakers, with Bluetooth v5.1 for pairing with external audio devices if required. The CineHead E1 instead includes a single 3W speaker and supports Bluetooth v5.0. Both models provide access to an app store for installing extra streaming or utility apps.

Preloaded OTT platforms on both CineHead M1 and CineHead E1 include Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, JioHotstar, SonyLIV, and Zee5. This allows direct streaming without needing a separate stick or box. Users can also mirror screens wirelessly, which helps for casual presentations, gaming sessions, or sharing photos and videos from personal devices on a larger surface.
