CONFIRMED! LeEco Smart TV coming to India on August 4
A few days back we reported that LeEco would be bringing its smart TV with Android OS to India in August. Now the company has started rolling out invites for a launch event on August 4.

Though LeEco has not mentioned what products it would be launching at its upcoming event, its invite teases a BIG screen device and shows what seems to be the side of a LED television.
Specs and features:
The Chinese tech company introduced two models of its smart TVs, including the LeEco 4 X50 and 4 X50 Pro in April in China. Speaking of the design, both X50 and X50 Pro TVs don metallic design with Harman Kardon speakers to take care of audio.

These are Android Marshmallow OS powered smart TVs, with native eUI skinned on Android. These feature latest Springer operating system and support voice-recognition technology.
As far as the specifications go, the LeEco 4 X50 Pro is the first TV to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 quad-core chipset. The 4 X50, on the other hand, is powered by MStar 6A938 chipset. Both models feature 3GB of RAM. Other features include support for HDR videos.

Pricing and availability:
The LeEco X50 was launched in China for CNY 2499 (approx. Rs 25,100) for the 16GB variant and CNY 2699 (approx Rs 27,100) for the 32GB version. Whereas, the X50 Pro version was priced starting at CNY 2,999 (about Rs 30,100). At this price point, the company will be competing against the likes of Micromax, Intex, and others. With LeEco now entering into the TV market in India, Xiaomi is also expected to bring its TVs to India sooner than later.
